Karon Beach, Phuket
Welcome to the Oasis Guesthouse & Bar, a British owned and operated Guesthouse that has extended a warm and friendly welcome to our guests here in Karon Beach since 2007.
Karon is located approximately 45 minutes by road from Phuket International Airport on the south west coast of Phuket. The soft, white sands of Karon Beach extend for 3km’s along the turquoise waters of the Andamann Sea and offer first class conditions for sunbathing and swimming. There are also many activities available on the beach including para-sailing, jet ski’s, windsurfing, water skiing, banana boats, wake boarding and some wonderful snorkelling. Massages in the shade, beer, umbrellas & mats can also be purchased or rented on the beach. All this and more is just 300m/4 min walk away from Oasis.
Karon has many dining options with seafood something of a speciality. Freshly caught crustaceans and fish of all kinds can be found in the beach-side restaurants and throughout Karon. Western food is also on offer at many establishments so everyone is catered for, so to speak.
We are situated in the heart of Karon’s nightlife with shops, markets, restaurants, bars and live music all nearby so you won’t be short of things to do. 5km’s north is the party town of Patong where the weird and wonderful has to be seen to be believed. For a more sedate experience you could head south for 5km’s to Cata which has a lovely beach of its own.
