Oasis Apartments, Guesthouse, Hostel & Bar is a British owned and operated establishment that has extended a warm and friendly welcome to our guests here in Karon Beach since 2007.
Karon is located approximately 45 minutes by road from Phuket International Airport on the south west coast of Phuket.
We are well positioned at the heart of Karon with easy access to all amenities and only a 300m / 4min walk to beautiful Karon Beach.

Oasis Apartments, Guesthouse, Hostel and Bar is situated in the heart of Karon's nightlife. Shops, markets, restaurants, bars and live music are all nearby so you won't be short of things to do.
Karon has many dining options with seafood something of a speciality. Freshly caught crustaceans and fish of all kinds can be found in the beach-side restaurants and throughout Karon. Western food is also on offer at many establishments so everyone is catered for, so to speak.
5km's north is the party town of Patong where the weird and wonderful has to be seen to be believed. For a more sedate experience you could head 3km's south to Kata which has a lovely beach of its own.
Karon Beach
The soft, white sands of Karon Beach extend for 3km's along the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea and offer first class conditions for sunbathing and swimming.
There are also many activities available on the beach including para-sailing, jet ski's, windsurfing, water skiing, banana boats, wake boarding and some wonderful snorkelling. Thai massages in the shade, beer, soft drinks, umbrellas & mats can also be purchased or rented on the beach.
All this and more is just a short walk away from Oasis.

The Oasis Guesthouse & Bar was formerly known as the "Traveller's Rest Guesthouse and Oasis Bar". The business has been owned and operated by Paul Cain since 2007, but we now have a catchier name!

“We were very pleased to be back here after an absence of 2 years and yes the resort was quieter but showing signs of picking up. There’s still a warm welcome here and Paul and his staff are so friendly and efficient and can’t do enough for you which is why people return year after year. We stayed in apartment 3 on the top floor which is lovely and spacious and has the advantage of a lovely sun terrace. There’s plenty of other rooms to choose from including a hostel area. The rooms are kept very clean and there is a laundry on site too. The bar area is comfortable and relaxed with people popping in and out all the time. We have booked already for next year and can’t wait.”
